SUMMER JENSEN - CID/NCIDQ
At the start of every project, Summer begins with the simple question, “How can I help these people live better?”
Inventive problem-solving alongside technical skill provides a path to dynamic design; no detail is too small, no shape is taken for granted in Summer’s ethos. This meticulous approach results in a unique blend of luxurious minimalism. Summer’s palette of choice, invariably neutral, is carefully chosen to evoke a connection with nature, enhancing the timeless appeal of her designs, she believes that “Mother Nature is the greatest artist.” Dedicated to infusing her clients' spaces with awe and harmony, she advocates for biophilic design, which aims to reestablish people with the natural world. With her unique perspective and intuitive understanding of clients' needs, Jensen soars in a design stratosphere of her own.
Garnering global recognition with features in top titles such as AD, Robb Report, Luxe, Interior Design, Modern Luxury, CA Home + Design, and Forbes to name a few, Jensen remains personally understated and committed to the simple things in life. Unaffected by fads, tattooed, and preferring the jobsite in her overalls and Doc Martens, the Hawaiian value of Ha’aha’a or modesty and humility offers a fresh contrast to what people may expect from this award-winning estate designer.
Her growing list of achievements include winning the Platinum and WOW awards at the Best in American Living Awards (BALA) 2021 and multiple category awards in 2022, The Grand Award at Gold Nugget Awards 2024 (2 projects awarded in the same category) along with accolades , 2022 Best Residential Build Award from CA Home + Design, and the Fantini Design Award. Additionally, Summer has forged partnerships with leading international industry brands sharing her knowledge and expertise through collaboration. Often a writing contributor and podcast guest speaker about design and sustainability, Summer believes knowledge is power and holds certifications in California and nationally under CID & NCIDQ and is a member of the NKBA.
